Korean Inspired Marinated Avocado

Ingredients

  • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Korean chili flakes
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 large avocados, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cucumbers, chopped

      Directions

      1. In a large bowl, combine the garlic, green onions, chili flakes, soy sauce, water, maple syrup, rice vinegar and sesame seeds.
      2. Add the avocado and cucumber and stir to combine. Let sit for 15 minutes or enjoy immediately alone or with rice.
