Chocolate Avocado Bread

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup mashed avocado
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine the butter, sugar, eggs, mashed avocado and milk.
  3. Add the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir just until combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased and floured loaf plan. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
